I'm not sure if you're aware, but Sunday morning a pipe located between the wall shared by units #12 and #11 broke wide open and immediately began gushing water at an enormous rate into both of our units via the bathroom. No one here knew how to turn the water off at the street level. The City of Houston stated it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait before they would be able to turn off the water which would have resulted in massive property damage. I want to commend Elda Management for the terrific and timely response to this horrific event and specifically Elias. Not only did he arrive on scene in an unbelievably timely manner, but he immediately took his tool and opened up a drain on my bathroom floor to immediately get the water draining. I never could have accomplished this on my own. He was the one who found how to shut the water off at street level. 3 of us tenants went out to the street initially, but were unsuccessful in trying to figure out how to turn the water off. He also turned the gas off my hot water heater for safety reasons. I shutter to think of what could have happened had we not had him. We are so incredibly lucky! The property damage is minimal compared to what it would have been. I cannot begin to tell you the helpless feeling to see incredible amounts of water flooding ones dwelling with no way to make it stop. Today is Monday, and I just walked into my unit from work and other than a hole in my wall from the plumbers who showed up this morning to fix the pipe (and did a beautiful job) and one minor damp spot just outside of the bathroom, you would never know that all hell broke loose a little over 24 hours ago. The plumbers have left, the water is back on and Jose the plumber informed me that I had hot water has well. I asked him how he knew my hot water heater was off and he told me Elias had called him and asked him to relight it. What a GREAT MAN! And on a major holiday at that. Thank you Elias, thank you Stephanie and thank you Elda Management!
I’m proud for you [that you won the 2016 BBB Pinnacle Award] and it makes me feel good too.
Congratulations to everyone at ELDA Management Services. You have provided me with outstanding service.
Congratulations, Elias! That is a significant accomplishment, and I appreciate all your stellar work in managing my property.
Elias and his team managed several properties I owned at one point. They were timely with all payments, on top of things, kept me informed all along the way if anything was needed. They provided excellent service. I would recommend them highly for property management.
I just wanted to take some time to extend my sincerest appreciation to you and your employees. A little over 16 years ago the Air Force transferred me from my recruiting position in Houston to Utah. At that time I thought I might come back to Houston to retire and wanted to keep my home there. Knowing I still had half of a career to go and faced multiple Air Force assignments I sought a property management organization to handle leasing the home until my retirement. I found Elda Property Management and contracted for your property management services over the internet. Throughout those many years, you and your employees have ensured the property was properly maintained, kept it leased with surprisingly minimal gaps, dealt with homeowner association issues, and ensured tenants were respectful and not the type to bring criminal activity or destruction to my home or neighborhood.
Ultimately, for over 16 years, your company provided me with peace of mind regarding my home and allowed me to continue my Air Force career, serving throughout the globe, without concern for all things related to renting a house out to people in a far away place. Only my choice to retire elsewhere and resulting sale of this home brought our professional relationship to an end.
Thank you again for the expertise and professionalism demonstrated by you and those in your organization.
